Sixth Form

Politics is a great subject for anyone who wants to know just what is going on in the world. Why do people have such low opinions of politicians? Why does the Prime Minister have the power to declare war without consulting Parliament? Why are many people not bothering to vote? Has Donald Trump changed the face of American politics? What is a hung parliament? What will be the long-term consequences of Brexit? Should the legal age of voting be lowered? Are you argumentative? Do you challenge the things you are told by your parents, your teachers and the media? You may think that sounds bad, but we like these sorts of students in politics! You will succeed in this subject if you enjoy debate and argument.
