Online safety

We always encourage parents to talk to their children about the social media sites that they may be using and to share passwords with parents. We fully appreciate that this may be difficult. We are aware that local police are currently investigating possible grooming behaviour linked to on-line games. Please ensure you are as vigilant as possible in knowing what your son or daughter is exposing themselves to whilst playing what may seem an innocent game. We have also been made aware of concerns regarding the apps 'Monkey' and 'Yellow'.

Both these sites have the potential to exploit young people and have the potential for grooming. Further information on these sites can be found here. If you have any concerns about any social media, please either contact the police, the school or seek advice from CEOP and Parent Zone & NSPCC.
