St Bede's 6th form trip to Musoma, Tanzania
A group of 21 Year 12 students and four staff had an incredible two and a half weeks in Musoma, Tanzania, in July. For the first two weeks, we worked hard building water tanks, goat sheds and the beginnings of a toilet block for a local school. During this period we also helped at youth groups, an orphanage and a leper community, as well as visiting (and singing at) a local church and school. Once again, it was great to see the team spirit, positive attitude and togetherness of the group, and they certainly deserved their reward on the final weekend of a safari in the unforgettable Serengeti National Park and trip back to Nairobi via the beautiful Ngorongoro Crater.
