St Bede's production of Beauty and the Beast 2019

We were delighted to be able to stage a production of Beauty and the Beast before half term. Overseen by the drama department and supported by our musicians, the show played to full houses on three evenings as well as being performed to the whole of Year 7 and a matinee performance to local junior school pupils. Many thanks to everyone who came along to show support - feedback from the audience was very positive. There was a large cast of actors, musicians and people working behind the scenes who all worked incredibly hard (see programme for details).

We are grateful to the Friends of St Bede's for providing interval refreshments. Thanks to parent Andy Cheek who took some wonderful photos capturing the play and the cast in action and also to a friend of the cast, Andrew Clarke (@andrew_clarke23320) who also took some great photos.

Finally, thank you to everyone who bought the keepsake roses, profits amounted to a donation of £85 to the British Heart Foundation.
