Asymptomatic self/home testing
Staff have already moved to self-testing at home and, now having completed the required series of onsite testing, we are preparing for students to begin self-testing at home. We will no longer be offering regular testing of students in school.
Students have now been issued with asymptomatic Covid-19 Self Test Kits, which are really easy to administer. Those whose parents opted out will not receive a kit as testing continues to be voluntary, however, we would strongly encourage you to take part to continue to keep our community safe and keep the spread of Covid-19 to a minimum. If you change your mind after having collected the kit, you can return the unused kit to school.
Once a test is used, you have a legal obligation to report the result to school and the NHS. Please ensure you have read all the information provided and if you have any queries that are not covered, do not hesitate to contact us.
Likewise, if you opted out but would like to receive a kit, please call/email school and we will arrange a kit for your child.
Many thanks for your continued support.
