We are aware of the difficulties earlier this week with crossing the Channel and we have been monitoring the situation. Having spoken to the company who run the channel tunnel, all trains running normally today and they do not anticipate any problems tomorrow. We are therefore planning for the trip to Ypres to go ahead as planned unless we receive further information.

Following on from last week's record-breaking A level results, we are very pleased to report that the GCSE results this year were the best-ever! The main headline figure (proportion of students gaining at least 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths) jumped up by more than 10% from last year to just under 80%. This is an excellent performance, particularly compared to a national picture which saw less than a 1% increase. At the time of writing, the key statistics are:
