Each year, students in Year 12 apply to become the senior students for the school during their final year. They are then interviewed by members of the sixth form team and senior leadership team. The successful students have an integral role in the running of the sixth form and are seen as ambassadors for the school. The presence of the senior students gives the students a voice and ownership of their community, as they organise and run events for Years 12 and 13 and are able to raise ideas and issues with the leaders of the school.
