A level Economics

Economics is integral to our lives. The impact of the economy is seen everywhere, from Brexit negotiations to bank bailouts, inequality in incomes and poverty and of course the impact of COVID-19 on our living standards. In Economics you will cover all of these and much more.

In lessons you will investigate these issues and use economic models and theories to analyse the causes and  impact of them. You will also be given the tools to critically evaluate different economic policies to address a wide range of challenges. In Economics we will then expect you to give your opinion and justify it, based on theory and evidence.
