Fantastic GCSE results at St Bede’s!

St Bede’s Year 11 students have achieved another set of fantastic GCSE results this summer. The school has once again achieved its best ever results in several subjects right across the curriculum. Furthermore, those students who studied Cambridge National Qualifications achieved our best ever outcomes on record. I am immensely proud of every student in Year 11 who worked incredibly hard throughout the last two years. 

In 2025 St Bede’s saw more students achieve the top grades of 9-7 than ever before which is brilliant. Our headline figures include 92% of students achieving a grade 4 or above in English and 88% achieving the same in maths. Results across the curriculum are impressive including in art, music and photography with over 50% of students achieving a grade 9-7 in these subjects. Attainment scores in double and triple science as well as in drama are equally impressive.

I would like to congratulate Year 11 on their GCSE success this summer as well as acknowledge our staff who supported students in achieving these fantastic results. Students and staff have both demonstrated determination in abundance and our students very much deserve this success and excellent outcomes. 

Mrs Wood, Mr Blount and I are delighted with the achievements of our students and we could not be more proud of them. We cannot wait to see the majority of the year group at our Year 12 Enrolment Day into the sixth form in September. Well done Year 11!
